How we price fixed-scope projects (and why we still do them)
Fixed-scope pricing is unfashionable in agency-land. We still offer it, because most founders need a number, not a rate card.

Time-and-materials is easier for us to sell and easier for us to run. It is also, for most first-time buyers, terrifying. So we still write fixed-scope proposals — with a specific rulebook for how change requests get handled.
The three-part quote
- A fixed price for the scope defined in the SOW
- A published hourly rate for anything added later
- A weekly demo where scope changes are agreed in writing before work starts
This lets a founder commit budget to their board with confidence, while giving us a clean mechanism to say 'yes, that is a change, here is what it costs.' No surprises, no scope wars, no ghost invoices.
